After 25 years and thousands of cases, I have gotten to know a lot about about the nature of delinquent taxpayers and IRS personel. I've learned how to mediate between the IRS and the taxpayer so that the results satisfy the IRS and at the same time mininize the tax burden on the taxpayer. There's a delicate balance that must be kept. Cases not closed out properly by the irs often comes back to hurt the taxpayer. Often we get calls from people who have hired someone to represent them before. They still have the tax problem and are seeking someone who they can trust to get the job done!
